As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated utility locations. Your presence will provide peace of mind to those on site as you conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and maintain a visible presence. Wed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and report any irregularities.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to site and Allied Universal protocols.

+ Work collaboratively with site personnel and emergency responders as required.

+ Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to authorized personnel and visitors.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
