As a **Security Professional – Hospital Unarmed Patrol** in **Monroeville, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to support a secure environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also respond to various situations with professionalism and communicate clearly with all individuals on site. What You’ll Do:
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents that may impact the operations of the healthcare location.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and maintaining a visible presence in designated areas.
+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns as directed.
+ Document all security-related activities, incidents, and/or issues in daily reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or client representatives.

+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
+ Must be able to provide proof of vaccination as required by hospital policies.
+ Must be able to work in environments that may include hospital morgue areas.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Must be able to assist with restraining individuals as required in a hospital setting.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
