As a **Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Patrol** in **Lanai City, HI** , you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon Shift

Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Sun12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS):

To be considered, **all applicants must meet the following criteria** :

+ **2+ years of professional law enforcement experience** in the U.S. _after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy_ (Federal, State, or County level)

+ Must provide **valid and verifiable credentials** at the time of application

Pre-Employment Requirements:

+ **Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)**

+ **Valid Driver's License**

+ **Law Enforcement Officer License**

+ **22+ years of age**

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.

+ Assist with access control and visitor management processes.

+ Report suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.

+ Prepare detailed and accurate incident and/or activity reports as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions at the location.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections.

+ Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 22 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
