What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications for the location, including radio, phone, and electronic systems, to support security-related operations.

+ Dispatch security personnel to incidents and/or areas of concern as needed, following site-specific protocols and procedures.

+ Document and report all incidents, calls, and activities in a clear and timely manner, maintaining accurate records as required by site policies.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions related to the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as necessary.

+ Support regular and random patrols by maintaining communication with field personnel and tracking their status throughout their shifts.

+ Follow all security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access at the location.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
