As a **Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Driver** in **Homestead, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all. This role requires you to be armed and to drive as part of your daily responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.

+ Assist visitors and employees with access and information while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

*Must have (No Exceptions):

+ **Active driver’s license**

+ **Valid Florida Security License D License and G License**

and at least ONE of the following:

+ **U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or**

+ **Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or**

+ **Associate's Degree (60 College Credits, Official Transcripts)**
