    Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a dedicated Tooling Specialist to join their team. As a Tooling Specialist, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting engineering and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Tooling Specialist

    **Location:** CT, Salisbury

    **Pay Range:** $30-40

     

    Shift: 7am - 3pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Design, repair, construct, modify, and perform maintenance on manufacturing tools and equipment.

    + Utilize precision measuring instruments to troubleshoot and repair intricate tools.

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support tooling needs and updates.

    + Conduct tool tryouts, detect issues, and implement corrective actions.

    + Maintain accurate documentation including tooling PM sheets and process logs.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mold repair or related field preferred.

    + Knowledge of hot manifold systems highly recommended.

    + Proficiency with equipment such as lathes, milling machines, EDM machines, and other toolroom machinery.

    + Ability to work from SolidWorks CAD, read blueprints, and interpret engineering sketches.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with decision-making capabilities.
