Operator

**Salary:** Day Shift - $17.00 per hour, Night Shift $17.50 per hour

Work Schedule:

+ Days: Mon-Fri

+ Hours: 5:00 am-5:00 pm day shift, 5:00 pm-5:00 am shift rotates monthly –

+ 12-hour shifts will receive 1 hour lunch and 3- 15-minute breaks

+ Good Attendance is Required

This position requires manual lifting and stacking of heavy bags (up to 50 Ibs) onto pallets with precision and consistency. You must be able to maintain a steady pace to meet productivity goals and deadlines while also following all safety protocols to use proper lifting techniques.

**PPE Required:** Hard Hat, Steel Toe Boots, Uniform, Safety Glasses, Ear Plugs, Mask and Gloves

Responsibilities

+ Safety first and contributing to the safety culture

+ Regularly move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations. Occasionally move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations.

+ Ensure correct raw materials are brought to area, working with forklift drivers as designated by worksite locations.

+ Ensure that materials are brought in an orderly fashion not to slow or stop production, working with Forklift drivers as designated by worksite locations.

+ Dose raw materials into blending operations.

+ Track and record dosage, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues.

+ Package and palletize finished product.

+ Regularly operate forklifts.

+ Responsible for keeping process area clean.

+ Meet written expectations of management.

+ Housekeeping duties, such as running sweeper in maintenance, production, warehouse, and plant parking areas, and general clean-up.

+ Hand-sweep, shovel, and/or wheelbarrow as directed.

+ Operational assistance as required in production, bagging, warehouse, and shipping areas.

+ Other duties as required to maintain an efficient operation.

+ Clean up material and return to proper ore piles, containers, and/or trash area as directed.

+ Work in a neat and orderly manner and minimize loss.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

+ High school graduate or GED equivalent with strong math skills.

+ Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders.

+ Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.

+ A strong sense of self-motivation and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Experience

Formal technical education

Forklift Certified or experience using Forklift
