Test Automation Engineer – AccelQ / Salesforce nCino
**Location:** Remote USA (EST hours)
**Employment:** 12 month contract
Overview
We are seeking a skilled **Test Automation Engineer** to support automation testing for a **custom nCino application built on Salesforce** within the **Commercial Lending** Technology group of a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with **AccelQ** , a strong understanding of **Salesforce platforms** , and the ability to design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for end-to-end business workflows.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts in AccelQ for Salesforce and nCino applications.
+ Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities.
+ Execute automated and manual test cases, track defects, and validate fixes.
+ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
+ Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to test planning, estimation, and reporting.
+ Ensure test data management, version control, and documentation are maintained to enterprise standards.
Required Skills & Experience
+ Proven experience with **AccelQ** automation tool (designing and executing tests).
+ Solid understanding of **Salesforce** testing concepts, especially for **nCino or other managed packages.**
+ Strong knowledge of **UI and API testing** , data validation, and regression testing.
+ Familiarity with **Agile/Scrum** environments and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
+ Experience with **commercial lending workflows** or **banking systems** is highly desirable.
+ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+ AccelQ certification or hands-on automation framework setup experience.
+ Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder familiarity.
+ Exposure to SQL and test data setup for Salesforce environments.
