Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join their team. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the logistics and supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Warehouse Lead
**Location:** Milpitas, CA
**Pay Range:** $32 – $37 / hour DOE
**Shift:** 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
+ Coordinate the on-time shipment of tools by ensuring the right materials are available in the right quantities at the right time.
+ Oversee stockroom operations, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, storing, and distributing activities.
+ Lead and motivate stockroom associates to meet productivity goals while fostering a positive work environment.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and best material handling practices, including forklift operation and equipment safety.
+ Identify operational issues, propose process improvements, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize stockroom efficiency.
What's Needed?
+ High School Diploma, Associates, or Bachelor's Degree.
+ Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in materials management or warehouse operations.
+ Knowledge of ERP systems and materials handling processes.
+ Ability to obtain forklift certification and train team members accordingly.
+ Strong coordination, communication, and team leadership skills.
