• Desktop Support Technician

    Our client, a leading organization in retail and technology support, is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be part of the IT Department supporting store operations and technical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

    **Location:** New York, NY (Onsite)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Assist in daily IT support tasks for store locations, including hardware and software troubleshooting.

    + Configure and maintain store handheld devices such as PDAs, iPods, and iPads.

    + Manage inventory status and update records in the CMDB system.

    + Support in the reception and evaluation of inbound packages and RMA processing.

    + Provide technical support to store staff via in person, phone, or MS Teams, guiding them through resolving technical issues.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proficiency in hardware, software, and networking, including device types like Bluebird, Zebra, iOS, NCR, and Toshiba.

    + Experience with operating systems such as Remedy, Zabbix, Power BI, and device lifecycle management tools.

    + Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

    + Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

    + Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple support requests effectively.
