Our client, a concrete manufacturing company is seeking a Fleet Maintenance/Diesel Technician to join their team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be repairing a fleet of company vehicles. The ideal candidate will have solid mechanical skillset, good attitude and be reliable which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Fleet Maintenance/Diesel Mechanic
Pay Range: $27-34/hour
What’s the Job?
+ Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles such as Front and Rear Concrete Mixers, Dump Truck, and Loader including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on fleet vehicles
+ Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
+ Troubleshoot any issues with WABCO vehicle control systems and ABS systems
+ Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on fleet vehicles
What’s Needed?
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ CDL preferred (Company can assist with obtaining license)
+ Completion of a vocational or technical program in automotive repair or related field
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fleet Mechanic or similar role
+ Preferred experience with Cummins equipment, CAT equipment, and Allison transmissions
