    Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Buyer I to join their team. As a Buyer I, you will be part of the procurement department supporting the purchasing and vendor management functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Buyer I

    **Location:** Irving, TX

     

    Pay Range: 20/hr - 23/hr

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.

    + Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.

    + Work under immediate supervision, following instructions and pre-established guidelines.

    + Assist in maintaining procurement records and documentation.

    + Support the procurement team in achieving cost savings and efficiency goals.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

    + 0-3 years of experience in purchasing or related field.

    + Knowledge of procurement concepts, practices, and procedures.

    + Strong communication and negotiation skills.

    + Ability to work effectively under supervision and follow established guidelines.
