    Our client, a leading legal services organization, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager / Data Analyst, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the Conflicts, Intake, and Information Governance team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Project Manager – Legal Records

    **Location:** New York, NY

    **Salary Range:** $100k - $150k

    **Shift:** 9:00AM - 5:30PM, Monday to Friday - availability to work overtime or on weekends required (on-site)

    What's the Job?

     

    + Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of records-related projects, ensuring compliance with firm policies and legal standards.

    + Assist in developing and executing test plans for updates to legal records systems such as Intapp Walls and FileTrail.

    + Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, discrepancies, and quality issues, creating detailed reports for internal teams and vendors.

    + Review outside counsel guidelines and other agreements to extract records and information governance requirements, translating them into operational procedures.

    + Support the implementation of records retention and disposition schedules in accordance with firm policies and legal obligations.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + **At least 3 years of experience working in a law firm or legal services environment (required).**

    + **Working knowledge of legal records management and destruction processes (required).**

    + IG certification preferred

    + Supervisory experience preferred

    + Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with database tools or BI platforms is a plus.

    + Hands-on experience with legal records management systems such as **FileTrail** , Intapp Walls, LegalKEY, NetDocuments, or iManage.

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
