    Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Linux AIX Administration professional to join their team. As a Linux AIX Administration specialist, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Linux AIX Administration

    **Location:** Nashville, TN

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Support and maintain Linux RHEL, OVM, and virtualization platforms to ensure 24x7 availability.

    + Deploy, support, and troubleshoot issues related to RHEL, OVM, and server hardware.

    + Administer and upgrade different versions of RHEL, perform server patching using yum, satellite, and RHN Satellite.

    + Automate routine tasks using Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform to improve operational efficiency.

    + Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for domain-related incidents, including OS recovery and kernel issues.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proven experience with Linux/AIX administration, particularly RHEL6/7/8.

    + Strong knowledge of Puppet, Ansible, and automation scripting tools like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

    + Understanding of infrastructure concepts, server hardware, SAN, NAS, and virtualization platforms like vCenter, UCS Central, and HP OneView.

    + Experience supporting and maintaining virtualization platforms and troubleshooting server issues.

    + Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and interact with stakeholders effectively.
