Job Overview
Amazon Robotics is seeking a Production Technician who will be responsible for Robotics assembly, Material Handling, and product packaging.
Job Requirements:
Production Technicians are members of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of Amazon products manufactured internally.
Key job responsibilities
(2nd shift only position) - Production associates use their general knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions to perform the following:
• Required tasks and build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices.
• Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
• Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers
• Seeking out improvements in processes to continuously meet on time delivery of goods.
• Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers
• General knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions
Basic Qualifications
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Able to work safely and effectively in a structured manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with focus on safety, quality, and standard work practices.
- Skilled in material handling, assembly, or packaging using manual or powered tools.
- Ability to follow standardized work instructions and meet production goals in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement principles such as 5S or Lean.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry or digital work instructions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Experience with manufacturing systems such as Tulip, Oracle, or MES preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66,560/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
