    **Job Title:** Client Onboarding Specialist

    **Location:** Hybrid schedule: 900 S Capital of TX Hwy, Ste. 350, Austin Texas

    **Classification:** Full Time

    **Reports To** : COO

    **Compensation** : $57,000-$65,000

    **Scheduled Hours:** Position hours are 8am - 5pm, 9am – 6pm, or 10am - 7pm, Monday - Friday.

    Job Summary:

    The Client Onboarding Specialist will lead new retirement plan onboarding and support compliance tasks, serving as a primary, client-facing contact—comfortable explaining requirements and timelines. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, personable, eager to learn, and entrepreneurial, able to build and maintain their own processes/tools. They must be an expert in retirement plan compliance and legal requirements, with working knowledge of non-ERISA/governmental plans a plus and stay current on legislative and regulatory changes. Strong communication, organization, and data skills are required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Managing all aspects of the onboarding process and successful transition of new plans to our platform

    + Coordinating with Financial Advisors, Plan Sponsors, prior recordkeepers, and/or Third Party Administrators to determine conversion timelines, key action items, and delivery dates, as well as communicating overall project status to both external and internal stakeholders

    + Collaborating cross-functionally to provide support where needed and ensure the team can deliver against expected Service Level Agreements

    + Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team

    + Manage deadlines – work within allotted time frames.

    + Manages caseload effectively to meet or exceed departmental service goals and partner specific service levels for quality and timelines.

    + Responding to internal/external customer inquiries via phone and written correspondence

    + Be familiar with various Plan Document types to be able to learn to Amend, Restate and prepare notices for clients

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree required or Equivalent Work Experience

    + Familiarity MS-Office software applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

    + Demonstrated aptitude for learning, creating, and iterating rapidly

    + High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and excellent organizational skills.

    + Proven track record of sound judgment and proactive problem-solving.

    Preferred Experience:

    + General knowledge of ERISA rules and requirements, and experience with one or more compliance/recordkeeping systems (e.g. SunGard Relius, ASC, FIS)

    + Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or higher ASPPA credential

    + Minimum of 5 Years’ Experience in Retirement Plan Industry

    + Subject matter knowledge of retirement plan design and plan conversion processes from point of sale to release of conversion data

    + Experience with Retirement plan documents: FIS and ASCi

    + Computer literacy with recordkeeping systems and trust systems (FIS Relius); and experience with plan reconciliations.

    + Basic knowledge of ERISA, DOL and IRS regulations, and plan documents (individually designed and prototypes).
