Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Controls Engineer with a strong foundation in automation, drive systems, and electrical troubleshooting. This role involves working with PLCs, HMIs, and servo/VFD systems to support industrial equipment and ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design, instrumentation, and control systems, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley preferred).
+ Apply AC/DC digital drive theory in real-world applications.
+ Design and modify electrical systems using CAD software.
+ Develop and maintain Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
+ Inspect and troubleshoot instrumentation components (e.g., thermocouples).
+ Interpret and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
+ Support robotic and automated systems integration.
+ Work extended hours or off-shifts as needed to support operations.

+ PLC programming and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with OEM or industrial equipment
+ Familiarity with Siemens NX
+ Exposure to modeling, simulation, and version control systems
+ Practical understanding of AI applications in automation
Work Environment
This is a hands-on role in a production and engineering setting. Candidates should be comfortable working on the floor and at a desk, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and improve system performance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $42.00/hr.
