Job Title: Associate Lab Support TechnicianJob Description

This position is based onsite at our Holly Springs, North Carolina facility. The Associate Lab Support Technician will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for preparing cell culture media, conducting daily analyzer checks, and performing tasks essential for the operation of process development laboratories. This role involves compiling batch records in electronic laboratory notebooks, maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare, sterilize, and dispense cell culture media.

+ Compile batch records in electronic laboratory notebooks.

+ Maintain laboratory equipment and monitor supplies.

+ Independently perform data entry and other general duties.

+ Ensure timely and accurate documentation and records.

+ Occasionally serve as a vendor escort.

+ Perform routine laboratory support functions, including ordering, stocking, and distributing supplies and equipment.

+ Arrange and dismantle apparatus, and collect, wash, and store glassware.

+ Perform standard technical procedures such as preparing routine solutions and reagents.

Essential Skills

+ General knowledge of laboratory procedures.

+ Ability to independently perform data entry.

+ Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation and records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ A degree in life sciences with coursework focused on fermentation, purification, cell culture, or microbiology is preferred.

+ Associate degree OR High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience OR a relevant certification with 2 years of experience.

Work Environment

The position requires onsite work at our Holly Springs, North Carolina facility. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holly Springs, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
