    We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in leading large construction projects from conceptual planning through to construction and key turnover, specifically in custom interior commercial projects. This role supports our general contractor client and demands a high level of expertise in project management and construction.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage multiple projects simultaneously, depending on their size.

    + Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including clients, design and engineering teams, and construction managers.

    + Oversee a team consisting of one or two Project Managers and several Assistant Project Managers.

    + Handle contract management, performance tracking, billing, and accounts receivable.

    + Report to and receive support from the Senior Vice President, while also acting as a leader to mentor and develop team members.

    + Manage all phases of project development.

    + Identify project risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.

    + Maintain project schedules for both clients and subcontractors.

    + Develop and manage the Cost to Complete report.

    Essential Skills

    + 10+ years of experience in supporting custom interior construction projects, each with a size of $5 million or more.

    + Experience working with general contractors, owners, or designers.

    + Strong client interfacing skills.

    + Proficiency in project management, construction, construction management, estimation, interior construction, project scheduling, and project development.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.

    + Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

    + Ability to manage a fast-paced environment.

    Work Environment

    This role requires a time split between the office located in Bethesda, MD, and the project sites. Project durations range from 4 to 6 months, and all work is conducted within the DMV area. The projects specialize in large luxury interiors, including hotels, offices, and restaurants, with project sizes ranging from $500k to $20 million, and 90% of projects valued between $1 million and $5 million.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Bethesda, Maryland.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
