Job Title: Application Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Engineer to join our growing team. This role is 100% floor-based, focused on troubleshooting equipment, solving complex mechanical and electrical issues, and integrating systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. You won’t have an office—you’ll be where the action is, working directly with equipment and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues

+ Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings

+ Integrate and optimize equipment including VFDs, motors, gearboxes, and servo systems

+ Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new product development and equipment upgrades

+ Apply hands-on expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes

Must-Have Skills

+ Mechanical Engineering

+ Electrical Engineering

+ Electromechanics

+ Troubleshooting (equipment, electrical systems)

+ Reading and interpreting schematics/drawings

+ Experience with VFDs, motors, gearboxes, servo motors/drives

+ Hands-on equipment integration

Qualifications

+ Preferred: Associate’s degree (AA) in Engineering or related field

+ Minimum 3 years of on-the-job troubleshooting experience

+ Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings

Work Environment

+ Location Phoenix AZ

+ Manufacturing floor (100%)

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

+ PPE Required: Hard hats, safety glasses, boots, industrial attire

+ Physical demands: High, especially in summer heat

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $89000.00/yr.
