The Construction Quality Control Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the construction Quality Control program. This role includes scheduling and controlling all meetings, ensuring deliveries meet Quality Control requirements, attending coordination and mutual understanding meetings, conducting Quality Control meetings, performing the three phases of control, reviewing and approving submittals, and ensuring that testing is performed. Additionally, the QCM will provide necessary certifications and documentation as required by the contract.
Responsibilities
+ Implement and manage the construction Quality Control program.
+ Schedule and control all meetings related to Quality Control.
+ Ensure all deliveries meet Quality Control requirements.
+ Attend coordination and mutual understanding meetings.
+ Conduct Quality Control meetings.
+ Perform the three phases of control.
+ Review and approve submittals.
+ Ensure testing is performed and provide certifications and documentation required by the contract.
+ Manage and coordinate the three phases of control and documentation performed by testing laboratory personnel and other inspection and testing personnel.
+ Provide certifications, daily reports, inspection reports, and testing reports in accordance with the contract.
Essential Skills
+ Quality control expertise.
+ Experience in construction management.
+ Familiarity with USACE standards.
+ Active QCM Certification.
+ EM385 Safety Certification.
+ OSHA 30 Certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Site safety management.
+ Experience as a Quality Control Manager.
+ EM385-1-1 knowledge.
Work Environment
This position is based on-site at the project location. The company is experiencing rapid growth, having expanded significantly over the past three years and is on a trajectory for continued substantial growth.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
