    Job Description:

    We are seeking a professional with strong expertise in aerospace cleanroom operations and mechanical/electrical facility systems. The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of space vehicle processing, launch vehicle integration, and project management, with the ability to manage complex projects and drive improvements across systems and processes.

    Responsibilities:

    + Plan, design, and oversee the operation, maintenance, and modification of facility systems, equipment, and structures.

    + Analyze facility systems for operational improvements and lead root cause investigations for anomalies.

    + Coordinate with clients to develop design and performance criteria; prepare layout and detail drawings.

    + Prepare bid sheets, statements of work, and contracts for system maintenance and repairs.

    + Estimate design and implementation costs including labor, materials, and equipment.

    + Lead testing and evaluation of critical facility systems under simulated operating conditions.

    + Represent the organization on contracts and deliver technical presentations.

    + Respond to off-shift facility anomalies and develop corrective action plans.

    + Supervise contractors and vendors performing work in the facility.

    + Apply systems engineering principles including integration, configuration management, and quality assurance.

    Essential Functions:

    + Design, fabricate, install, test, and document operations and maintenance procedures for facility systems.

    + Provide detailed instructions and specifications for technicians.

    + Participate in engineering configuration control processes.

    + Review and revise outdated mechanical/electrical engineering criteria and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 4 years of experience.

    + Active TS/SCI clearance.

    + Strong oral and written communication skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret SOPs, electrical drawings, and P&IDs.

    + Capable of walking and moving around job sites.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
