    Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Technician to support engineering operations by maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and automated equipment. This hands-on role is perfect for an individual with strong mechanical aptitude, experience in industrial environments, and a dedication to safety and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine and corrective maintenance and upgrades on automated equipment.

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including servo motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical components.

    + Conduct diagnostics to identify root causes of equipment issues.

    + Support installation, alignment, and calibration of machinery.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, upgrades, troubleshooting, and PLC edits.

    + Collaborate with teams to improve equipment reliability.

    + Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + 2–3+ years of experience in industrial automation, mechanical troubleshooting, or electrical troubleshooting.

    + Strong knowledge of servo motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.

    + Experience with PLCs and HMIs is advantageous.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Open to entry-level Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering graduates with hands-on internship experience or an associate degree.

    + Experience working in a manufacturing setting with automated equipment is beneficial.

    + Familiarity with electrical schematics, AutoCAD, and project scheduling is advantageous.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a manufacturing and office environment with a clean facility. Due to working around food packaging products, wearing hair nets is required. The position offers 2 weeks of PTO, 6 sick days, and is paid hourly. The company invests in structured learning and development programs, providing opportunities for career advancement.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
