Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Coordinator to manage and communicate work orders derived from maintenance requests, planned maintenance, and preventative maintenance schedules in a packaging company specializing in medical device products. This role involves supporting maintenance mechanics, reporting progress on completed work orders, and overseeing parts ordering.
Responsibilities
+ Create and communicate work orders based on maintenance requests and schedules.
+ Assist maintenance mechanics with spotting work as needed.
+ Report progress on completed work orders.
+ Assign and track work orders effectively.
+ Coordinate the completion of the autonomous CMMS maintenance program and PM program.
+ Coordinate implementation of new equipment and processes.
+ Order necessary parts and manage work orders.
+ Track progress on work orders and plan maintenance work.
+ Audit maintenance processes.
+ Assist with repairs, modifications, and upgrades to equipment in all departments.
+ Utilize mechanical knowledge to make recommendations that will increase plant efficiencies.
+ Track uptime vs. downtime and apply process knowledge to improve uptime percentage.
+ Maintain minimum inventory levels.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
+ Knowledgeable in pneumatics, including air compressors, driers, valves, and air cylinders.
+ Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Familiarity with machine shop equipment such as lathe, mill, band saw, and drill press.
+ Welding skills including gas, arc, and tig welding.
+ Mechanical aptitude and maintenance administration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with SAP, inventory management, and purchase orders.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
+ Ability to coordinate and track maintenance work efficiently.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
