Job Title: Assembly Line Avionics Technician
Job Description
Seeking an experienced avionics technician with expertise in cable lay-ins, terminations, crimping, pinning, and soldering. The role requires assembling, modifying, and installing wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. Candidates must be able to document work performed, control equipment status tags, log critical information during installation, and verify parts requests. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions is essential. Additionally, the ability to use a variety of manual hand tools and specialized aircraft test equipment is required.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components.
+ Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, and log critical information during installation.
+ Verify parts requests and read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions.
+ Use a variety of manual hand tools and complex, specialized aircraft test equipment.
+ Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with other employees and members of supervision.
+ Perform assigned duties on all shifts, accommodating various weather conditions and physical locations, while wearing required safety equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Avionics experience with troubleshooting and functional testing.
+ Proficiency in aircraft avionics systems, wiring, wire harnesses, and schematic interpretation.
+ Experience with avionics installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
+ Knowledge of aircraft electronics, maintenance, and assembly.
+ Expertise in soldering and working with coaxial cables.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 4+ years of electrical/avionic aviation production experience preferred. Military experience will be considered.
+ Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft.
+ General knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $77040.00/yr.
