Join our Assembly Training Program to become a qualified assembler. Participants will engage in a variety of tasks across departments, learning blueprints and tools specific to our operations. This a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals.
Job Title: Assembly Trainee
Job Description
Shift: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: Based on progression.
+ $17.75/hr to start
+ $18.25 between 3-5 months
+ $19/hour at 6 months
Responsibilities
+ Participate in a 6-month training program.
+ Perform general labor tasks in sealing, coating, and other departments.
+ Learn to read blueprints and use specialized tools.
+ Progress through classroom, shadowing, and hands-on training phases.
+ Contribute to the assembly and modification of shelters.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ General understanding of math.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical assembly experience.
+ Machine operation and inspection skills.
+ Forklift operation knowledge.
+ Welding and construction
+ Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
