Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This contract position requires someone with excellent typing skills, a strong grasp of health insurance terminology, and the ability to work efficiently during high-demand periods such as Open Enrollment. The role involves working closely with health insurance data and requires a commitment to accuracy and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Process and input large volumes of health insurance data with speed and precision.

• Utilize the AS400 system to manage and implement policies effectively.

• Maintain strict attention to detail while handling sensitive insurance information.

• Commit extensive materials and detailed information to memory for efficient data entry.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clarity and accuracy in documentation.

• Manage email communications and scheduling using Microsoft Outlook.

• Adhere to a structured work schedule during Open Enrollment periods, including extended hours as needed.

• Ensure compliance with health insurance policies and procedures.

• Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy of entered data.

• Stay seated and focused for long periods while performing computer-based tasks.

Requirements • A minimum typing speed of 6,000 keystrokes per hour with a 90% accuracy rate.

• Proficient knowledge of health insurance terms and processes.

• Familiarity with the AS400 system and experience in a health insurance home office setting.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling.

• Excellent spelling, grammar, and overall communication skills.

• Ability to work extended hours during Open Enrollment and adhere to a flexible schedule.

• Capacity to memorize and retain detailed information for efficient data entry.

• Comfortable working in a seated position with a computer for extended periods.
