    Job Title: Shipper

    Job Description

    As a Shipper, you will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing shipments, ensuring timely and efficient processing of orders. This role involves using computers for email and Teams communication, managing bills of lading, and organizing paperwork. Your day-to-day duties will include opening and organizing boxes, woodworking tasks, and operating forklifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Organize workload and prioritize orders for shipment.

    + Open boxes and organize paperwork.

    + Use box cutters and perform woodworking to put items in crates.

    + Count, weigh, or measure items to verify against bills of lading and invoices.

    + Pull and label parts for shipment.

    + Examine incoming shipments for damage or shortages.

    + Complete necessary documentation and paperwork.

    + Receive and issue vendor materials, process deliveries and return deliveries electronically into SAP.

    + Prepare materials by skidding, boxing, wrapping, and packing to prevent transit damage.

    + Enter shipping data on UPS/FED EX terminals.

    + Operate sit down and stand up forklifts.

    Essential Skills

    + 6-12+ months of shipping and receiving experience.

    + Proficiency in using email, Teams, and entering data into ERP systems such as SAP.

    + Experience with packaging and labeling parts.

    + Ability to operate sit down and stand up forklifts.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with hand tools and assembly.

    + Familiarity with machine shop environments.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a clean shop within the Pumps division, operating Monday to Friday with hours from 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm. Although the environment is not temperature controlled, fans are in place to ensure comfort. The dress code requires work pants, work boots, and a t-shirt. The company is a reputable manufacturer of industrial processing equipment, offering stable and engaging work conditions.

    This is a Contract position based out of Exton, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
