Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, daily accounting operations, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and can manage complex accounting tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes with accuracy and timeliness.

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper account support and documentation.

• Partner with sales and service teams to ensure accurate transactions and provide accounting support.

• Manage QuickBooks functions and integration with Salesforce.

• Support budgeting, cost management, forecasting, and project tracking.

• Oversee inventory control and monthly counts.

• Manage AP, PO processing, and vendor relationships; provide guidance to staff.

• Oversee AR, billing approvals, and customer accounts.

• Mentor junior accountants and promote team collaboration.

• Maintain accounting policies, controls, and compliance standards.

• Lead or assist with special projects, system implementations, and process improvements.

• Coordinate with CPA firm on tax matters as needed.

• Provide general support for office and team operations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Preferred experience with inventory management and QuickBooks Enterprise.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.

• Proficient in preparing accurate and comprehensive financial reports.

• Experience with QuickBooks and Salesforce.

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
