    Job Title: Commercial Electrical Estimating Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimating Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine proven leadership in estimating with a strong background as a journeyman electrician. This position is responsible for managing the full estimating process for a range of commercial electrical projects—overseeing a team of estimators, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and collaborating closely with project management to deliver competitive, timely, and profitable bids.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee all aspects of the electrical estimating process for projects of varying scope.

    + Lead, mentor, and support a team of electrical estimators.

    + Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and other documents to develop detailed and accurate estimates.

    + Coordinate with project managers to ensure estimates align with project goals, timelines, and budgets.

    + Review, evaluate, and approve change orders.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, engineers, and contractors.

    + Participate in project meetings and provide input during preconstruction and planning phases.

    + Continuously evaluate and refine estimating procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, and competitiveness.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 5 years of recent experience managing electrical estimating operations.

    + Prior Electrical Journeyman experience with a solid understanding of commercial construction practices.

    + Ability to interpret plumbing/HVAC, architectural, civil, and structural plans relevant to electrical installations.

    + Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, SureCount, Autodesk, Intellibid, and/or EBM preferred.

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with estimation, electrical, construction, bid management platforms, and customer service.

    + Background in commercial estimation and bidding.

    Work Environment

     

    Work is client-based and involves estimating new commercial construction electrical projects. The role requires the use of advanced technologies and software tools in a collaborative and engaging environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

    The terms of this offer of employment are:

    Wages are paid every Friday. You will be provided with an annual performance review.

     

    Please note, the annual performance review does not guarantee wage adjustment. Pay

     

    adjustments are based on a combination of performance level, competitive market value

     

    and SEMP’s financial performance.

    In addition to the above, Superior will provide you with the following:

    1. Enrollment in SEMP’s medical, dental, vision and supplemental plan effective the

     

    first day of the of the month following 60 days of employment. The Company will

    pay a portion of the premium for the employee medical coverage on the Bronze

    Plan. Participation in the dental, vision, and voluntary programs are subject to

     

    employee paid premiums deducted through payroll on a pretax basis.
