    Job Title: Process Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Process Technician responsible for managing mold changeovers, tear downs, and start-ups of plastic injection mold machinery. This position operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 4pm to 2am, Monday through Thursday. You will utilize Hi-Lo and crane equipment to assist with setting up and changing over plastic injection dies.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct mold changeovers, tear downs, and start-ups of plastic injection mold machinery.

    + Operate Hi-Lo and crane to assist with the setup and changeover of plastic injection dies.

    + Lift and handle up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional heavier lifting.

    + Perform 5-8 mold changeovers per shift, with small molds taking approximately 30 minutes and large molds up to 1.5 hours.

    + Change out dies, water hoses, and air lines, and hook up end of arm tooling for robotics.

    + Ensure molds are locked in properly for first runs.

    + Work on injection machines ranging from 55 ton to 950 ton (Milacron and Niigata).

    + Handle robotic equipment, including Sepro or AEC systems.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in the plastic injection industry.

    + Expertise in injection mold die setting and processing.

    + Experience with Hi-Lo or crane operations (training/license provided).

    + Robotic experience with Sepro or AEC systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Any training with RJG would be beneficial.

    + RJG certifications are a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a very clean and open shop. The space provides open areas for material movement. The position starts with training on the 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm, Monday - Thursday) for about a month before transitioning to the 2nd shift. The role offers a competitive pay range that can increase with the right experience.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
