    Job Title: Window Processor

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team where your craftsmanship will shine. As a Window Processor, you will sand, paint, stain, and varnish windows, doors, and trim while also staging jobs for installation crews. Your role will involve checking and receiving incoming shipments and ensuring all paperwork is tracked and delivered promptly. You'll handle and dispose of paints and hazardous materials safely, maintain equipment, and participate in training seasonal or part-time help.

    Responsibilities

    + Sand, paint, stain, and varnish windows, doors, and trim.

    + Stage jobs for installation crews.

    + Check and receive incoming shipments.

    + Track paperwork and ensure timely delivery to the office.

    + Safely handle and dispose of paints, stains, and hazardous materials.

    + Clean and maintain equipment and workspace.

    + Monitor waste containers and coordinate removal.

    + Assist with training seasonal/part-time help.

    + Support EPA lead testing and documentation.

    + Attend safety and department meetings.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in inventory management, painting, staining, sanding, and varnishing.

    + Experience with wood finishing, trim, window, and door installation.

    + Skilled in using power and hand tools.

    + Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving.

    + Capable of hazardous materials handling.

    + Possession of EPA lead-safe certification.

    + Understanding of OSHA safety regulations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Comfortable with physical labor and warehouse conditions.

    + Willingness to work with paints, stains, and fumes.

    + Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    + Experience in home improvement or a related field is preferred but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in an environment that requires lifting and moving up to 100 lbs with assistance, frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and reaching. Expect to work in loud, outdoor, and warehouse conditions.

    This is a Contract position based out of Mankato, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
