Description
We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Western, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting inventory and capital processes, and driving data visualization efforts. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments, contribute to process improvements, and provide valuable insights that influence business decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and record journal entries for accruals, inventory adjustments, and fixed assets.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Support month-end closing activities and assist with financial reporting processes.
• Monitor inventory valuation and oversee revaluation adjustments to maintain compliance.
• Manage fixed asset schedules, including capitalization and depreciation tracking.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI to present financial data and performance metrics.
• Conduct variance analyses and provide actionable insights to support leadership decisions.
• Collaborate with the Controller to develop forecasts and annual budgets.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies while maintaining audit documentation.
• Partner with teams to enhance financial systems and improve reporting capabilities.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in inventory accounting principles and ERP systems; experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Strong analytical abilities with expertise in financial modeling and ad hoc analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial insights clearly to stakeholders.
• A team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
