    Accounting Manager – Investment Accounting

    Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee investment accounting and reporting under GAAP and Statutory guidelines

    + Supervise staff and review deliverables for accuracy and timeliness

    + Analyze diversified investments (debt, equity, private placements, alternatives)

    + Partner with investment, actuarial, and tax teams to support financial reporting

    + Manage reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activity

    + Collaborate with external providers and leverage systems like Clearwater Analytics and PeopleSoft

    + Maintain controls, ensure compliance, and identify process improvements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA and/or public accounting background preferred

    + 5+ years of investment or insurance accounting experience

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting

    + Experience supervising or mentoring staff

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA and/or public accounting background preferred

    + 5+ years of investment or insurance accounting experience

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting

    + Experience supervising or mentoring staff
