Job Title: Quality Assurance

Job Description

A popular company in **Fresno** is looking for **Quality Inspectors** to join the team and help assemble various aerospace components.

The company is looking for inspectors to start right away so Aerotek will provide a **rapid interview** process you start work as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

+ Follow safety and operating procedures for all plant and ancillary equipment, reporting hazards to the supervisor.

+ Verify work orders meet sales order requirements.

+ Communicate quality issues with press operators as they arise.

+ Assemble packaging for finished labels.

+ Attach identifying tags or labels to product as required.

+ Load labels and packaging material to and from conveyors, boxes, and pallets by hand.

+ Count and verify output satisfies work order requirements.

+ Inspect and test labels to verify conformance to specifications and standards.

+ Rework defective or incomplete label rolls and materials.

+ Operate production equipment including rub testers, label rewinders, and label application testing machines.

+ Inspect all work order set-ups and monitor production runs for quality defects.

+ Complete required documentation for timekeeping, housekeeping, and periodic preventative maintenance.

+ Perform housekeeping and keep the work area, machines, and equipment clean and clutter-free.

+ Perform routine maintenance on production, testing, and ancillary equipment.

+ Report maintenance issues with production or testing equipment and complete notifications as required; enter maintenance requests for repairs as needed.

+ Meet or exceed label production targets (KPIs).

+ Cross-train in other label production department roles.

+ Experience in production, packing, and loading.

+ General production and packaging skills.

+ Ability to operate machinery and perform general labor tasks

Shifts

**1st Shift:** 5 am - 1:30 pm

**2nd Shift:** 1:15 pm - 9:45 pm

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
