Job Title: Construction General Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction General Laborer, where you will collaborate with duct or kitchen cleaning crews to support crew leaders in cleanup tasks. This role involves utilizing various methods and equipment to perform cleaning duties at different commercial facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings. The job requires occasional entry into tight spaces to complete cleanups. You'll start your day at our Warren shop, from where you'll travel to different job sites, including some overnight travel, which is compensated.

Responsibilities

+ Assist crew leaders in cleanup tasks for duct or kitchen cleaning crews.

+ Utilize various methods and equipment for cleaning duties.

+ Travel to different commercial facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings to complete tasks.

+ Perform cleanups outside of vents and occasionally enter tight spaces for cleaning.

+ Meet at the Warren shop daily and travel to job sites.

+ Participate in some overnight travel with compensation.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 6 months of general labor experience.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Comfortable working on flat rooftops and in smaller spaces.

+ Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts with schedule changes weekly.

+ Mechanically inclined with knowledge of basic hand tools.

+ Possession of a valid driver's license or state ID.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in air duct or kitchen exhaust fan cleaning.

+ Familiarity with vacuums and power washers.

+ Leadership experience or skills to lead crews.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
