    Position Overview

    We’re looking for a skilled **forklift Operator** to join our team in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and accurate loading and unloading of trailers, performing final quality inspections, and maintaining high standards in warehouse operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Safely **load and unload trailers** and **stage units** in the warehouse.

    + Ensure all units are **properly banded** and have **visible load tags** .

    + Perform **visual quality inspections** on all items.

    + Verify **truck counts** and ensure **paperwork accuracy** .

    + Read the **Wet End run schedule** and lay down correct rolls for upcoming paper grades.

    + Safely drive and handle rolls according to company procedures.

    + Assist with prepping damaged rolls and returning butt rolls to the roll room.

    + Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

    + Unload trucks or railcars and follow all required documentation processes.

    + Complete monthly **online safety training** and report any safety issues immediately.

    + Maintain **exemplary attendance** and work flexible or extended hours as needed.

    Required Skills

    + Experience operating:

    + Clamp truck

    + Clamp forklift

    + Reach truck

    + Stand-up forklift

    + RF scanner

    + Ability to read and follow production schedules.

    + Strong commitment to safety and quality.

    + Reliable attendance and flexibility with shifts.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to work well in a team and perform detailed inspections.
