Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating various machinery and ensuring the quality and traceability of cable assemblies. You will be responsible for completing necessary documentation and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

+ Complete job cards, routers, and all necessary job documentation.

+ Maintain material traceability by accurately recording materials usage.

+ Conduct visual and tactile inspections of assembled parts.

+ Perform proof-loading of assembled parts.

+ Gather samples for start-up and in-process testing and inspection.

+ Package and label processed materials according to job card instructions.

+ Report any part or process quality issues to the supervisor or quality personnel.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with material handling.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools.

+ Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

+ Excellent attention to detail and good documentation practices.

+ Ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations.

+ Effective troubleshooting skills for manufacturing defects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and problem-solve.

+ A proven understanding of part workmanship and quality standards.

Work Environment

You will be working on the 1st shift from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role is based in a manufacturing setting with a focus on precision and quality. There are five openings available, offering a chance to join a dedicated and skilled team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allendale, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
