Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Marblehead, Massachusetts. This role focuses on overseeing key accounting tasks and ensuring the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Ideal candidates will have a strong accounting background and hands-on experience with Business Central, enabling them to provide valuable insights and support to the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely completion.

• Manage general ledger entries and maintain detailed financial records.

• Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.

• Prepare and review journal entries to maintain compliance with accounting standards.

• Assist in financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to evaluate the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Provide expertise and guidance during the system implementation process, ensuring smooth transition from legacy systems.

• Analyze accounting workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Train and support team members in utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central effectively. Requirements • Extensive experience in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.

• Proficiency in creating journal entries and maintaining compliance with accounting regulations.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics GP.

• Familiarity with system implementation and conversion processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills within an accounting context.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide training.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
