Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technicians to support specific areas within our expansive plant. The role involves working in a heavy industrial environment, requiring previous experience in mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.

+ Install equipment and ensure operational efficiency.

+ Work with rolling mills, conveyors, CNC machines, casting equipment, furnaces, and more.

+ Troubleshoot PLCs, AC/DC drives, and 3-phase motors.

+ Commission equipment and handle electrical installations and repairs.

+ Manage high voltage equipment, switchgears, and generators.

Essential Skills

+ Troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.

+ Experience in PLC troubleshooting and control.

+ Proficiency with AC/DC drives and high voltage systems.

+ Ability to work with industrial maintenance mechanics.

+ 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Journeyman Electrician certification.

+ Industrial Electrician

+ Experience with Siemens PLCs.

Work Environment

The job is set in a heavy industrial environment without climate control, exposing workers to varying temperatures. The plant spans hundreds of acres, with each department maintaining its own management and training program. While there is a union present, it only applies to one department. Employees work 12-hour shifts, with a night shift schedule required initially. The facility is tobacco-free, and wearing jewelry is prohibited.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr.
