    Job Title: 1st Shift - General Production Worker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team on the 1st Shift, working from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is available and may require work from 4:00 am to 2:30 pm, including some Saturdays as needed. The Production Worker is responsible for ensuring product quality and meeting deadlines, while maintaining safety in potentially hazardous environments.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate production equipment efficiently.

    + Maintain and monitor warehouse machines.

    + Store products and materials securely.

    + Meet production task deadlines during shifts.

    + Report any defective products or machinery.

    + Check stock levels and report deficiencies.

    + Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards.

    + Follow manufacturing manuals to assemble machinery.

    + Ensure timely shipping procedures.

    + Transfer equipment manually or using forklifts.

    + Adhere to company safety and quality guidelines.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong tape measure reading skills.

    + Experience in operating slitter machines.

    + Proficiency in machine operation.

    + Assembly experience.

    + Manufacturing experience.

    + Good work history.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with overhead crane operation.

    + Skills in loading, unloading, picking, and packing.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a standard manufacturing shop, which can be fairly clean but may get dirty due to the nature of the metal shop. It is not climate controlled, which means it can be warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter months.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
