Job Title: Shift - Production Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our team. This position involves working on one of our two main assembly lines, where you will be responsible for assembling doors. You will be cross-trained on both the standardized and custom door lines to ensure you can leverage your strengths effectively. Your role will involve handling various tasks such as screwing holes, adding hardware packs, labeling, and sealing boxes.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble components on the production line for both standardized and custom doors.

+ Perform tasks including screwing holes, adding hardware packs, labeling, and sealing boxes.

+ Stand for 8+ hours per day and lift at least 50 pounds independently.

+ Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours).

+ Capability to lift at least 50 pounds independently.

+ Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive actions with hands and wrists.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Entry-level position with all necessary training provided on the job.

+ Experience in a manufacturing or general production environment is beneficial.

Work Environment

Our facility is large, clean, and spacious, with ergonomically designed workstations. The environment is designed to ensure comfort with floor mats and worker-friendly conveyor heights. We value a positive attitude and provide additional training and weekly performance feedback to support your growth. Our shifts include a 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and a 3rd shift from 7:20 PM to 5:50 AM, with a 9% shift differential for the latter.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Luray, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.30 - $18.86/hr.
