Quality Control Technician

**Location:** West Sacramento, CA

Pay: $19 - $21

**Shift:** Swing shift / Morning shift

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Quality Control Technician in West Sacramento, CA, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of prescription packaging and sortation processes in a large-scale pharmacy/warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform prescription packaging, handling HIPAA-sensitive and medication information.

+ Execute prescription sortation using handheld scanners, ensuring accurate bin placement through barcode confirmation.

+ Conduct audits for closed bins by comparing physical counts to tote manifest counts and communicate discrepancies to management.

+ Analyze application screens and pop-up windows to ensure compliance with HIPAA-sensitive information protocols.

+ Perform chain of custody audits, recording total bins created and ensuring tote counts match physical counts. Obtain pickup driver signatures for correct tote counts.

+ Restock workstations with daily supplies and maintain cleanliness by taking out trash, wiping surfaces, and sweeping.

+ Complete proof of delivery by duplicating and recording shipping label numbers on receipts, verifying accuracy, and signing off.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in data entry, inventory, clerical work, quality assurance, and administrative tasks.

+ Familiarity with audit, cycle count, reporting, general labor, laboratory, quality inspection, and medical laboratory tasks.

+ Experience in distribution environments, including loading/unloading, identifying missing or damaged materials, and inventory management.

Work Environment

Work in a large-scale pharmacy/warehouse production environment with exposure to cold conditions in a refrigerated station. Handle environmentally hazardous medications occasionally. Physical abilities required include lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and utilizing ladders. Continuous standing, walking, reading, hearing, and using simple grasps are necessary. The facility operates in a distribution environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
