    Job Description

    + Provides quality control (QC) oversight and support to ensure compliance with governing requirements and to help ensure high-quality products and services for EnergySolutions customers.

    + Develops and maintains QC plans, procedures and checklists used during the inspection of fabrication activities.

    + Performs and documents inspections

    + Performs variance lab work (gradation, Atterberg, proctors)

    + Performs and documents nondestructive examinations (NDE) on fabricated and/or purchased components.

    + Reviews inspection results and completes reports on inspection activities in accordance with applicable procedures.

    + Performs independent project surveillances as assigned.

    + Provides direction and guidance to vendors on QC matters.

    + Supports the resolution of nonconforming conditions.

    + Use AutoCAD

    + There is no supervision of other workers at this level.

    + Responsible for the quality of their own work.

    + Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.
