_Waldorf Astoria_ is looking for a _Food and Beverage Manager_ to join the team in Chicago's Gold Coast\!

This Forbes 4\-Star property located in downtown Chicago has a Parisian\-style charm with 318 rooms, 8,500 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets\. This includes a restaurant, cafe, and in\-room dining\.

In this role, you will oversee in\-room dining managing a team of 14, reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, and assisting in the other two food and beverage outlets as needed\.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with a talent for building comradery, a drive for delivering excellence, and champions a positive culture\. At least 2 years of food and beverage leadership experience in a luxury hotel is required\. Prior experience in a union environment and in\-room dining are a plus\.

What will I be doing?

As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service\.

+ Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation\.

+ Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs\.

+ Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards\.

+ Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service\.

+ Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff\.

The annual salary range for this role is $65,000\-$70,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location\.
