Job Summary
As the Assembly Technician, you will process stainless steel tubing of various lengths through different cleaning baths/solutions.
Job Description
We are looking for an **Assembly Technician** **.** This position will be a **full-time contract** and **on-site in Medway, MA. This is a 2nd shift position; Monday through Thursday 3 pm EST to 1:30 am EST.** Training will be on first shift (6:30 am to 5 pm) for four weeks.
What You'll Do
+ Process stainless steel tubing of various lengths through different cleaning baths/solutions
+ Use of water hoses and air lines for cleaning/drying of parts
+ Move material or carts of tubing between departments
+ Maintain accurate records of the jobs performed including routers of in process materials
+ Performs in-process inspection to ensure production meets required specifications
+ Follows work instructions, written procedures, and job routers
+ Working with various cleaning chemistries/ Hazardous materials (PPE and engineering controls in place)
+ Perform most cleaning operations/processes within the department
+ Perform operations in a manner which will consistently meet quality and production standards
+ Able to understand and follow OSHA regulations regarding the handling, storage, disposal of chemicals
+ Runs multiple jobs at a time when time permits
+ Perform routine PM / changing of baths as required

+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent
+ Strong written andverbal communicationskills inEnglishare required to perform essential job functions including reading various signage throughout the facility, comprehensive understanding of various documentation, understanding and communicating processes to ensureworkplace safetyand job efficiency
Physical Demands
+ Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use hands for fine motor tasks such as handling or feeling objects, reach with arms and hands, and communicate effectively through speech and hearing
+ The role also requires the ability to handle small components under a microscope for prolonged durations
+ Regular physical demands include lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds routinely, up to 25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
+ Safety shoes are required

$19.80 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
