We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full AR cycle for a dynamic organization operating in the aerospace and defense sector. Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Type: Full-time, Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Pay: Based on experience and software proficiency
What You’ll Do
+ Process 250–300 invoices per month with precision and timeliness
+ Manage collections and follow up on outstanding payments
+ Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
+ Review customer accounts to ensure compliance with contract terms
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy
+ Assist with month-end close and generate AR reports
+ Compile project billing matrices and maintain system updates
+ Analyze aging reports and support financial decision-making
What We’re Looking For
+ Proven experience in high-volume accounts receivable
+ Ability to read and interpret contracts and billing terms
+ Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
+ Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
+ Preferred: Experience in aerospace, defense, or military sectors
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
+ Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for formal education

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
