    Supply Chain Planner

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Operations Planner to optimize production planning and enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will focus on improving processes, reducing costs, managing inventory, and ensuring the timely delivery of products. You will troubleshoot issues across the supply chain and adapt swiftly to unexpected challenges to keep operations running smoothly.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and communicate clear production schedules that align with customer demand and operational goals.

    + Balance inventory, service levels, and cost objectives through effective planning and scheduling.

    + Analyze capacity constraints and recommend adjustments or solutions to maintain workflow.

    + Review forecasts and inventory data to build weekly master production schedules that meet service targets and cost goals.

    + Create action plans to address service issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

    + Use ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data tools to monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvements.

    + Support compliance with SQF and GMP standards to ensure safe, high-quality packaging products.

    + Maintain flexibility to adapt schedules during peak periods or unexpected changes.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

    + 2–4+ years of experience in supply chain operations, production planning, or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.

    + ERP experience (SAP or JDE preferred).

    + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, array formulas).

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with multiple priorities.

    + Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

    + Flexible schedule during critical business deadlines.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with supply chain management and operations management.

    + Knowledge in schedule planning, reporting, procurement, and inventory management.

    + Proficiency in data management, ERP systems, and data entry.

    + Leadership skills and experience with inventory planning.

    Work Environment

    The position is onsite, with a typical work week from Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible, generally between 7:00/8:00 am and 4:00/5:00 pm.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Weyauwega, Wisconsin.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.64 - $38.46/hr.
