Job Description:

Responsibilities:

+ Work with manufacturing and help resolve process and quality related issues.

+ Implement new procedures and processes in QA lab and manufacturing operation.

+ Validate and send Certificate of Analysis as required.

+ QA release and validation of data as required.

+ Manage lab equipment calibrations and repairs.

+ Customer Complaint investigations and resolutions.

+ Monitor quality charts/screens which contain variables for Extruders, Spiral Cutters and Lamination and assist in recommendations to resolve issues.

+ Disposition Daily Downgrades (Back-Up)

+ Oversee quality of work for Lab Technicians.

+ Must utilize problem analysis and resolution

+ Manage production retains/samples

+ RFT Investigations

+ Support the Quality Manager in enforcing standards

+ Train operators/technicians on new lab equipment as required.

+ Disseminate information to everyone that is affected in the process

Skills and Experience Needed

+ Background in Industrial engineering, Manufacturing engineering or relevant experience.

+ Manufacturing background.

+ Technical Expertise.

+ 2+ years QA/QC experience as a Quality specialist or equivalent.

Compensation Information:

$70,000 - $80,000
