Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Microsoft Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and operations of those assets. We are looking to fill the critical role of Supply Chain Portfolio Manager for the Americas region, which includes US, Canada, and Latin America.
The **Supply Chain Portfolio Manager - Americas** is responsible for partnering with the broader Global Supply Chain (GSC) teams including Planning & Analytics, Supplier Quality and overall Site Projects team. This role will partner with workgroups to drive strategy development and compliance through supplier selection, supplier selection and award, and contract management.
This role is located either in one or all hub locations - **Atlanta, GA, Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or Washington DC.** Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates should relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities
+ **Drive Strategic Procurement Initiatives** : Lead CAPEX cost structure strategies and ensure alignment with finance and business goals through robust rhythm-of-business processes.
+ **Manage Sourcing & Contracting** : Partner with Strategic Sourcing to develop and negotiate contracts for long-lead equipment, ensuring compliance with industry norms and Microsoft standards.
+ **Oversee Program Planning & Execution** : Define success metrics (OKRs, KPIs), create communication plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complex programs from initiation to completion.
+ **Optimize Business Programs** : Conduct cost-benefit analyses, monitor performance dashboards, and implement improvements to enhance program efficiency and impact.
+ **Lead Change Order Management** : Track, analyze, and negotiate change orders and claims, mitigating risks and ensuring contractual compliance across regional projects.
+ **Enable Data-Driven Decisions** : Develop mechanisms to track CAPEX/PER requirements, OKRs, and priority attainment, leveraging analytics to drive insights and operational excellence.
+ **Influence Stakeholders & Drive Adoption** : Evangelize programs, secure buy-in, and lead organizational change initiatives through clear communication and strategic storytelling.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 5+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 6+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement
Other Requirements:
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements arerequired for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ **Microsoft Cloud Background Check:** This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or financial field (engineering, finance, business administration, supply chain). Masters Degree is preferred.
+ Experience working in the data center industry
+ Experience managing a variety of project delivery methods - ability to lead a project team in defining risk and developing the appropriate contracting.
+ Ability to achieve results in midst of ambiguity and matrixed org.
+ Excellent communicator that can interact with groups across organizational levels.
+ Familiarity with common process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six-Sigma, etc.) and ability to facilitate change management.
+ Ability to implement new processes and get buy in from a cross functional team.
+ Experience driving sourcing strategy and supply chain execution for multiple categories.
+ Willingness & ability to travel up to 25%
Sourcing and Category Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
